1. Who we are
This Cookie Policy explains how WeAreDots, SIA ("Ervy", "we", "us"), Kronvalda Boulevard 3-5, Riga, LV-1010, Latvia, uses cookies and similar technologies on the ervy.ai website (the "Website"). It supplements our Privacy Policy. For questions, contact privacy@ervy.ai.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as pixels (tiny scripts or images that record an action, like a page visit or sign-up) and local storage. In this policy we call all of these "cookies".
3. The categories we use
Strictly necessary — required for the Website to function and to remember your cookie choices. These are always active and do not require consent. The Website is built and hosted on Framer, and our cookie banner is Framer's built-in consent tool, which records your choice in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie. No other cookies are needed to deliver the Website. Listed in section 3.1.
Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the Website: which pages are viewed, how people move through them, and where they run into trouble. Two of these tools (Microsoft Clarity and Mouseflow) also produce heatmaps and anonymised session replays of scrolling, mouse movement and clicks on our public pages. Set only with your consent, and never inside the Ervy product (web.ervy.ai). Listed in section 3.2.
Marketing — set by our advertising partners to measure our campaigns and show you ads for Ervy on their platforms. Set only with your consent. Listed in section 5.
3.1 Strictly necessary
These are always on. They carry no advertising or profiling function.

3.2 Analytics
Nothing in this category is set unless you accept analytics cookies in the banner. Declining does not limit your use of the Website. We do not combine this data with your Ervy account, and we do not share it with advertising partners.

4. Your consent
When you first visit the Website, a cookie banner asks whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. Nothing in those categories is set until you opt in, and declining does not limit your use of the Website in any way.
You can change your mind at any time via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent removes the cookies we control and stops further data sharing; it does not undo processing that happened while your consent was active. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings.
5. Marketing cookies and advertising partners
We use the following technologies, only with your consent and only on the public Website. They are never used inside the Ervy product (web.ervy.ai), including the sign-in page. We advertise only our own services; we do not sell your data.

6. Joint controllership
For the collection and transmission of event data through the Meta Pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag, we are joint controllers with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company respectively. These arrangements are set out in Meta's Controller Addendum (facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum) and LinkedIn's relevant terms (linkedin.com/legal/l/dpa). Their essence is the following division of responsibilities.
Ervy is responsible for the consent banner and the "Cookie settings" link, for obtaining and recording your consent before these tags load, for the information in this policy, and for acting as your first point of contact.
Meta and LinkedIn are each responsible for informing you about their own processing, for the lawfulness and security of that processing, and for responding to requests concerning the data once it has reached them.
If you contact us about data held by a partner, or a partner about data held by us, your request will be passed to the other party without undue delay. Under Article 26(3) GDPR you may exercise your rights against either of us.
Each partner is an independent controller for its own subsequent processing, described in its privacy policy linked in the table above.
7. International transfers
If you consent to marketing cookies, the partners listed above may transfer the resulting data (cookie identifiers, event data, IP address, approximate location) to their parent companies in the United States: Google LLC, Microsoft Corporation, Meta Platforms, Inc. and LinkedIn Corporation. Each is certified under the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, recognised by the European Commission as providing adequate protection; Standard Contractual Clauses apply as a fallback. You can prevent these transfers entirely by declining marketing cookies.
Data inside the Ervy product is not affected: Customer Data and product usage data are stored in Microsoft Azure data centers in the EU and are never shared with advertising partners.
8. What data these cookies process
Depending on your consent, marketing cookies process: a pseudonymous cookie or device identifier, advertising click identifiers (gclid, msclkid, li_fat_id, fbclid), the pages you visit on the Website, IP address and approximate location, browser and device information, and conversion events (for example, booking a demo or starting a free trial). We do not send names, email addresses or product data to advertising partners.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, for example when we change providers or when providers change their cookies. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision; material changes will be announced on the Website.
