What changed
There's a new lesson type in the course creation wizard: Podcast. Pick it and Ervy narrates the lessons, so people can listen instead of reading.
How it works
Choose Podcast while you're building the course. Ervy generates the audio from your material, and the lesson editor now has a player built in, so you can hear every lesson before anyone else does.
For the person taking the course, nothing moves. The lesson still arrives in the same Teams chat; it just has a play button on it now.
While it plays, the transcript follows the voice. The sentence being spoken is highlighted and centres itself on screen, so people can read along or lock the phone and keep going.
If someone stops in the middle, the player remembers. Next time they open the lesson it resumes at the last unfinished point instead of starting over.
Courses with audio are marked on their course card, so they're easy to find in the list.
Why it matters
Reading a lesson takes a screen, both eyes and a quiet minute. Plenty of people don't have all three during a working day. Shop floors, warehouses, vans, site visits, and anyone whose calendar is back to back. Podcast lessons give them the same training in a format they can get through with their hands full.
The transcript helps here too. People working in a second language get the voice and the text at the same time, and anyone in a noisy space can switch from listening to reading without losing their place.
How to use it
Create a course, choose Podcast as the lesson type, publish. Preview the audio in the lesson editor first if you want to hear how it sounds.

The Ervy library now includes a complete AI Literacy course available for admins. It covers the AI literacy training that the EU AI Act requires for employees working with AI.
How it works
The course is in the hub, ready to distribute. No setup or editing needed, though you can adapt it like any other course.
Lessons are delivered in Microsoft Teams in the usual 2-3 minute format.
Completion is tracked, so you have a record of who has finished the training.
How to get started
Open the hub, preview the AI Literacy course, and distribute it to your team. Taking it yourself first is a good way to see what your team will get.

What changed
Until now, your first step with Ervy was connecting your Microsoft account. That made sense for teams ready to roll out, but it was a lot to ask if you just wanted to see how it works.
Now you can start with your email. Enter it, we send you a one-time link, and you're in the web version of Ervy.
What you can do
Almost everything. Build courses from any document, browse the library, edit lessons, and test the full experience. The one thing that waits for full setup is distributing courses, because that's the part that happens in Microsoft Teams. When you're ready to send lessons, connecting Microsoft Teams takes a few minutes.
We suggest you use a bigger screen for the best experience.
Good to know
If your email already belongs to an existing Ervy workspace, we'll send you an email asking you to log in with your Microsoft account instead, so you don't end up with a second, empty workspace.

New "My courses" list: search courses, filter by status and distributor, and sort by date, progress, and more.
Course visual identity: every course now gets its own design opton, shown on its card in the list.
What changed
The AI Teacher used to work one course at a time. You'd open a course, navigate to the AI Teacher tab, and ask questions scoped to that material.
Now there's a faster way. Employees can message Ervy directly in the Teams chat and ask anything across every published course in their library. No specific course tab required.
How it works
The AI searches all published courses in the organisation's library and returns answers drawn from the relevant material. It works the same way the AI Teacher always has — grounded in your actual content, not generic internet answers — but the scope is the full library instead of a single course.
Why it matters
People don't always know which course has the answer. They just have a question. This removes that extra step of opening the right course first, which means employees can get answers faster, and admins don't have to worry about people not finding what they need.
How to use it
Open the Ervy chat in Microsoft Teams and type a question. That's it.
