“Add Ervy” prompts for Teams channel members and redesigned emails

Ervy Team

When an admin adds Ervy to a Microsoft Teams channel, members who don’t have Ervy installed in the personal scope now get a card prompting them to install it, and admins are notified about who’s missing it. The sign-in and course sharing emails have a new look too, and so does the Ervy Web sign-in screen.

What changed

  • When Ervy in is added to a Microsoft Teams channel, members who don’t have Ervy installed in the personal scope now get an “Add Ervy” card with a button to install it. The card is sent once per channel. After installing, they get a welcome message and start receiving new lessons. Lessons sent before they installed Ervy aren’t sent again.

  • Admins now get a notification when a channel has members without Ervy installed in the personal scope, with a link to a guide on installing it for them in advance. These users are also listed under “Errors & Alerts” in Ervy Hub.

  • Fixed an issue where uploading a file with the same name as a source in another course could replace that course’s source file. Each source is now stored separately.

  • Fixed an issue where Fact Check could mistake regular learning material for instructions trying to influence the check, and list it as a “Likely incorrect” claim. When a document does contain such instructions, this is now shown as a “Reviewer note” instead of a claim that may be inaccurate.

  • The sign-in email and the course sharing email have been redesigned, and there's better dark mode support.

  • The Ervy Web sign-in screen has been updated.
